A stop at Dash In in the 15500 block of Upper Marlboro turned $30 into seven figures after a lucky lady from Anne Arundel County scratched away and realized she had won 40 $50,0000 prizes on the ticket.

“It was a lot of $50,000 prizes and I just knew that I won $2,000,000,” the finance worker told Lottery officials. “I was shaken and crying.”

The big winner started to scratch off her instant ticket during a break at work, but she she saw the writing on the wall - in the form of 10 $50,000 prizes in the first two lines - she put it away to avoid attracting any attention, saving it for later when she got home, and sure enough, there were 30 more $50,000 prizes waiting for her.

The Anne Arundel woman said that she usually sticks to $5 instant tickets, but has been on a winning streak, so she tested her luck, and was rewarded.

With her unexpected windfall, the lucky Lottery player says she wants to bolster her savings, then make a down payment on a house.
